Miss Lily’s Hand Painted Signs

Farewell NYC created beautiful hand painted signs that revived a historical and famous corner in New York City.

If you living in New York City, you may have seen a Caribbean restaurant called Miss Lily’s or you have listened to Radio Lily which is the Miss Lily’s internet radio.

Miss Lily’s is a place which is famous for its West Indian food and culture. It servers authentic West Indian food and it is situated at the 7A Café Space.

Miss Lily’s creative director Serge Becker contacted Farewell with a simple idea – to bring new life to this remarkable corner in NYC. Farewell was inspired by the vanishing bodega facades that once were all over the New York City and created a vivid exterior signage system that represented the energy of Miss Lily’s.

Using their love for typography, Farewell created artwork which is unique and custom. Every element of the signage was hand painted in their Brooklyn studio.

The result is lovely and vibrant. The mission was accomplished and an eye-catching façade was created to please the sight of the people in the neighborhood. Have a look below.
